VOLUNTEER

Our dedicated volunteers are the backbone of our efforts. We take in over 840 wild animals a year and have only one full-time paid staff member.  That one staff member cannot do it all and so volunteers are  needed.  We have volunteers involved in all aspects of wildlife rehabilitation including :

bullet transportation
bullet care and release
bullet building/maintaining animal enclosures and nest boxes
bullet writing articles for our newsletter
bullet answering questions from the public
bullet helping with administrative and facility maintenance duties
bullet board member work
bullet public presentations
bullet fundraising efforts (auction, yard sales, letter writing, grants)
bullet website development and maintenance

Please consider volunteering your time, energy and talents to Northwest Wildlife.  For more information on becoming a Northwest Wildlife Rehabilitation Volunteer:
