VOLUNTEER

Our dedicated volunteers are the backbone of our efforts. We take in over 840 wild animals a year and have only one full-time paid staff member. That one staff member cannot do it all and so volunteers are needed. We have volunteers involved in all aspects of wildlife rehabilitation including :

	transportation
	care and release
	building/maintaining animal enclosures and nest boxes
	writing articles for our newsletter
	answering questions from the public
	helping with administrative and facility maintenance duties
	board member work
	public presentations
	fundraising efforts (auction, yard sales, letter writing, grants)
	website development and maintenance
